Lee grew up around Drumheller, Alberta.  He worked for his father, Paul Borsheim, at the family RV dealership. After graduating from high School he went to SAIT to receive his Journeyman RV Service Technician Certificate. He then went off to Red Deer College and received a Diploma in Business Administration. Lee continued to work for the family business while operating a steam truck in the oilfield for a previous employer.

In 2006, he founded Performance Steam Ltd. and began delivering exceptional steam and washing services throughout central Alberta. Since then, the business has grown into a diverse oilfield company consisting of picker trucks, hotshot service, a large variety of rental equipment, and most recently a mobile RV parts and service division (Performance RV Service).
